Chacepork, keeper, at the Purification in the 36th year. By K. and T. de Wintonia. Allocate to William de Bello Campo of Worcester, in the farm of the king's manor of Wych while he was farmer thereof, being 801. blanch, the fixed alms [and other things] * which used to be allowed to the other farmers before him. By K. To the agistors of the forest of Savernake. Contrabreve to pay 101. for the king's works at Lutegareshale to the keepers of those works. By K. To the bailiffs of Wich. Contrabreve to pay 201. for the king's works at Wudestok to the keepers thereof by view of Master John de Glouc', mason. By K. To Stephen Bauzan, keeper of the king's manor of Wuttun. Contrabreve to deliver a quarter of wheat yearly of the king's gift to the recluse (fem.) of Wuttun as long as he is keeper. By K. To the sheriff of Suffolk. Contrabreve to give a tun of wine of the king's gift to Master Richard the king's harper and carry it to his house in Bury St. Edmunds. By P. de Rivallis. To John de Henneberg' and Peter de Lega, keepers of the king's works at Wodestok. Contrabreve to roof with lead the king's bell-tower at Wodestok and the penthouses above (ultra) the doors of the king's great hall and old chapel; to make a penthouse at the end of the hall from the king's kitchen to the stable (stabliam), and another from the queen's kitchen to the door of her chamber, a chamber with a privy chamber and fireplace between the king's chamber and the wine-cellar, a fireplace for the clerks' chamber and another at Evereswell, a workshop (astelariam) for the masons, and a canopy (tabernaculum) above the king's seat in the hall with a royal chair; to wainscot above the passages (aluras) from the king's new chapel as far as the battlements above (ultra) the chapel; to make two fixed windows in the building called ' hardel,' a glass window (verinam) with an image of St. Mary in the new chapel, an image of an angel above the sacrarium there, two openings in the great hall, and a stew in * Cancelled.
