To the sheriff of Northampton. Contrabreve to cause six
heron-falcons of the king and four of Edward his son, which are
in the keeping of Ralph de Erleham, to be mewed at Geytinton,
and to find necessaries for three greyhounds of the king and two
of the said Edward at ~d. each daily, and ld. daily for livery of
a groom keeping them all. By K.
To the sheriff of Stafford. Contrabreve to carry Adam de
Bosco, detained in the king's prison of Bruges for robbery, to
London under safe conduct for delivery to the keeper of the
king's gaol of Neugate, who is commanded to receive him.

To the sheriff of Worcester. Contrabreve to carry William
de la Neweland, detained in the prison of Worcester castle for the
death of Margery la Butillere, and Robert Sorel, detained in the
prison of the town of Worcester, whom the bailiffs will deliver,
both being appealed of the same death, under safe keeping in
separate carts to London for delivery to the keeper of the king's
gaol of Neugate, who is commanded to receive them and keep
them safely till further orders.

Contrabreve to spend up to 20 marks in making a new water-mill
and a fishery in the water of Trente within the manor, and in
enclosing the king's stew there with a hedge and ditch, as may
seem most for the king's advantage; and to repair the king's
buildings at Melleburn where necessary, the cost to be credited

at Selveston between the queen's chapel and the king's chamber,
with a doorway thereon, and a cloister from the door of the king's
chamber to another hanging cloister leading to the queen's
chapel; to make forms in the queen's chapel and the king's
chamber, and two fixed (stantivas) windows in the king's hall; to
remove the great bench in the hall and to make a new stone
bench in its place with a chair in the middle for the king; to
make two fixed windows in the king's great wardrobe, a door to
the old cloister to enter the wardrobe, an iron bar across the
fireplace in the queen's chamber to hold it up, and forms and
tables in the chamber of Edward the king's son; to repair the
