210 CALENDAR OF LIBERATE ROLLS. 1255. Membrane 8-cont. April 28. Allocate to Robert de Wileweby, escheator of Lindes' in co. Westminster. Lincoln, in the issues of the escheatry, 151. delivered as above. Liberate to Ellis Wyger 191. for 10 tuns of Gascon wine, to Ralph le Petyt of Suthampton 71. 12s. for 4 tuns of wine, and to Gaylard Ninon 151. for 9 tuns of wine, bought of them at Suthampton in the 39th year by the hand of Robert de Dacre, king's clerk. To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve to carry 40 tuns of wine to Wyndesores, 10 to Kenyton, 10 to Merton, and 60 to Westminster, to place in the king's cellars there, out of 120 to be delivered by John de Gisorc' the king's chamberlain of London. Liberate to William de Grey 61. 10s. for Easter term in the 39th year of his yearly fee of 131. Liberate to Eymo Thurbert, constable of the castle of Wyndesores, 601. 7s. 92d. for the expenses of the king's children dwelling there, incurred while the king and queen were beyond seas. To Hugh Garget, bailiff of Melkesham. Contrabreve to bring 60 quarters of wheat to Clarendon against this Whitsuntide, and to see that he has 60 quarters more ready for the king at warning. Liberate without delay to William de Sancto Ermino 40 marks for Easter term in the 39th year of his yearly fee of 40 marks, and 10 marks arrears from last year. Liberate to Peter de Monte Forti 50 marks for the same term of his yearly fee of 50 marks. April 30. Liberate to Bertram de Crioll, constable of Dover castle, 320 Westminster. marks for the same term of the yearly fee of 640 marks which he receives for keeping the castle. Liberate to William le Ruter, king's carpenter, his liveries of 3d. daily from Easter in the 39th year till Michaelmas following. Liberate without delay to Artald de Sancto Romano, king's clerk, keeper of the wardrobe, 500 marks for the expenses of the household. Liberate without delay to John de Castello, knight, 301. for the expenses of himself and Walleram de Juliers, Henry de Hufalis', and their comrades, knights of Germany, and 20 marks on the yearly fee of 50 marks promised to him of the king's gift.
