Jan. 28. Liberate to Maynettus Spire, Rustikellus Cambii, and their
Westminster. fellows, merchants of Florence, the 1000 marks received of the
treasure of Ireland, in lieu of a like sum borrowed of them by
A. queen of England the king's consort to despatch the king's
business and matters useful to the realm. By the queen.
Feb. 3. Liberate to Alexander Reinerii daily during his life the 2d. which
Westminster. Cecilia Mignote used to receive daily from the Exchequer during
her life. These letters are patent. By the queen.
Liberate to Lucy late the wife of Rhiwallon (Rualens') de Brey
100s. for Michaelmas term in the 37th year of her yearly fee of

Allocate to Simon Druel, escheator in co. Bedford, in the issues
of that escheatry, 16s. 5d. spent in taking 20 does in the park
of Kemeston, which is in his keeping, and salting them and carrying them to Westminster for the queen against the Purification

Feb. 4. Allocate to R. earl of Gloucester and Hertford, in the debts
Westminster. first due from him at the Exchequer, 401. 19s. 51d. which he should
have received in the 38th year for the barton of Bristol.
To the bailiffs of Southampton. Contrabreve to carry 4 tuns
of wine to Lutegarsale and 10 to Merleberge, to place in the king's
cellars there, out of 14 to be taken for the queen at Suhampton
and delivered to them by Roger le Flemeng, keeper of the king's
prisage.
Mandate to Roger to take and deliver the wines.

To the sheriff of Northampton. Contrabreve to cause six of the
king's heron-falcons and four of Edward the king's son, which are
in the keeping of Ralph de Erlham, to be mewed at Geytinton,
finding necessaries for them and certain greyhounds and livery
for a groom (as on p. 103) as long as the falcons are in moult.

Allocate to William de Horsenden, sheriff of York, in the issues
of the county, 20 marks which he delivered to Geoffrey de
Langele for his expenses in going on the king's errand to the parts
of Scotland. By the queen.
Liberate to Walter de Bradelegh, keeper of the queen's wardrobe,
11441. 15s. to pay her expenses.
