Liberate to Henry le Peytevin 101. for the same term of the Westminster. yearly fee of 201. granted to him at the Exchequer till the king shall make more abundant provision for him in wards or escheats. To the bailiffs of Southampton. Contrabreve to carry 20 tuns of wine, to be delivered by Roger le Flemeng, taker of the king's wines, to Westminster with all speed against the coming Whitsuntide, which the king is about to celebrate there. To Alan la Zuche, justice of Chester. Contrabreve to deliver at Portesmuth without delay and without fail all the king's pavilions which are at Chester by the day of the Holy Trinity at latest. Liberate to William de Sancto Ermino 171 marks remaining due for Easter term in the 37th year of the 201. granted to him yearly at that term. By R. Waleram. Liberate to the merchants of Ypres 2701. 2s. 8d. for cloth bought of them at the fairs of Norhampton, Stanford, and St. Ives in the 37th year by the hands of Richard de Shireburn and Roger de Ros. Allocate to the bailiffs of Suwerk, in the issues of their farm, Windsor. 100s. delivered by order of the abbot of Persore for purchase of books to serve the king's chapel of Windesores. By the abbot of Persore. [May 23.] To the sheriff of Northampton. Contrabreve, whereas the king Westminster. is sending Robert de Mares and Benedict Gernet to take 6 bucks in his park of Norhampton and 10 in the forest of Witleuuode or his park of Hanle, to receive the venison and salt it and carry it to Westminster against the coming Whitsuntide. Allocate to Hugh Garget, keeper of the king's manors of Gillingham, Shaftebur', Sumerton, and Brideport, from the time when he first had the keeping thereof and for the future so long as he retains it, 8d. daily granted to him on that account for his maintenance. By the abbot of Persore. Liberate to Master Geoffrey, clerk of 0. duke of Bruneswyk, 5 marks for the 37th year of the yearly fee of 5 marks granted to him at the Exchequer till the king shall make more abundant provision for him in a sufficient ecclesiastical benefice.
