Feb. 22. Liberate to Peter de Watevill 61. bequeathed to him by Gregory
Windsor. de Rouecestr', and due to Gregory for a horse bought of him by
Fulk de Castro Novo the king's kinsman, whose letters patent
to Gregory are to be retained at the Exchequer.

To the bailiffs of Wyz. Contrabreve to pay 441. out of the farm
of their town for the coming feast of the Annunciation to the
keepers of the works at Gloucester castle to carry out those
works. By K.
Feb. 23. To the sheriff of Warwick. Contrabreve to buy 50 gallons of
Windsor. good new oil of this year and carry it to the king so as to be at
London on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday. By the steward.
To the bailiffs of Suhampton. Contrabreve to let Theobald de
Englescheville have a tun of wine of the king's gift.
Richard de Tillebur' gives 10 marks of gold-leaf to the king
(unfinished; see Excerpta e Rotulis Finium, II, 154).
Feb. 27. Liberate to Walter de Bradele 2601. 6s. to pay for jewels bought
Windsor. for the queen against the Circumcision last. By K.

late of Matthew Hose in that county, which are in the king's hand
and the wardship whereof belongs to the king, with the issues
thereof by view and testimony of lawful men.

Westminster. is needed for the repairs of the king's crossbows in his castle of
