K. & S. Vide KETTLE & SONS, of Birmingham. I have mentioned KEMPSON & SON of London as the makers of the Princess Charlotte medal which is by KIRKWOOD & SON of Edinburgh. KUBLI, PAUL (Sziss). Medallist of Netstal (canton Glaris), born in Moscow on I1/9 March I816; son of Paulus Kubli and Baarara Therese Kollar: married in I86i Justine Wassiliew and died in I882 at Moscow, leaving two daughters behind him. He was the founder and proprietor of renowned Die-sinking \vorks there. BIBLIOGRAPHY. - Ernst Buss, in Scbzweii. Kiilnstler-Lexion. KUCHLER, CONRAD HEINRICH (B.D.M., Vol. 111, p. 234). A memorial medal of Louis VIII, Landgrave of Hesse, is signed KUICHLER. Dr Bousfield owns dies of Louis XVI's medal on his leave-taking of his family, I793 (IL. only); - Memorial medal of Washington (PIL. only); - Julius David Denicke, b. 1716 I77I (both sides); also a sealing-wax impression of a Portraitmedal of Boulton, never issued. The same collector possesses a medal of Nelson, in pewter, with inscription on the edge, and another in bronze, with different bust. By Kilchler are further: John James Moser, born I8. Jan. I701, bust almost facing; 13. NON INTERITURUS Palm-tree; signed C.H. Kiichler, ft.; -- Medal on the New Century, I800; - Peace of Luneville, I80I; RB.
