A,?:o on an antique gem representing the head of ayouthful Hellenistic Prince. The name may be that of the owner and not that
of the engraver of the stone.

He was one of the representatives of the City of Glasgow in the
British House of Commons from I868 to I885. In I885 he vas
appointed to the position of the Deputy Master of the Melbourne
branch of the Royal Mint, in which he succeeded Mr. V. Delves
Broughton. During his eleven years' residence in Melbourne a
volume of poems by him was published.
