The Negro's church,.

The Message of the Minister 7 73 if these should hold their peace the stones would immediately cry out. These are the words of the text. It looks like you might see him coming up to Jerusalem, no previous preparation having been made, only prepared hearts. That is one thing I like. He wants a prepared heart. He has said, "Give me your heart." I saw them making preparation for Jesus as they brought the colt for there was a crowd who had made preparation for Jesus, made preparation in their hearts. So much form, so much indulgence, so much selfishness and leaving off Jesus. I see them pulling off their coats and putting them down before him. They tell me the people climbed in palm trees to see the triumphant entry and they tell me those palm trees grew forty feet in the air. I don't know how they got up there and got the palm leaves; but they were there waving the branches of the palm tree. Sometimes when I see myself born down in Georgia where there are so many hardships, I can tell that my dungeon shook and my chains fell off. I don't know how Jesus saved me; but I am saved. I don't know how they got up in those palm trees, but they got up there and got palm leaves and waved them in the wind. They said we have no comnets, no instruments to make music. They said that this is the day that music should animate the souls of men. There is nothing we can do but use our voices. What will we sing? Nobody knew what they ought to sing. Jesus said this is the day of my inauguration and' they began singing "Hosanna." We see those men who were the main officers, who controlled the city, staring, but Jesus Christ said I am going to let them know that my message is a brotherly message. "I am the Lord of Lords, the King of Glory, my dominion being an everlasting dominion, heaven and earth may pass away but my dominion will last forever." They said make them hold their peace. But he said, "This is the day that I must be presented, this is the day that I shall take the reins of time. Yes, if these will hold their peace, even the rocks will cry out." The world has been trying to get you to hold your peace; but you cannot get, a child of God to hold his peace. I don't know what God meant when he said the rocks will cry, but I think he meant if he should make them hold their peace, then the rocks would cry out and proclaim him Lord. To let you
