but no more, 6-Hearts.
SHOWING A TWO-SUITER
If partner fails to aid your first make, or in case
he raises your first bid of one only a single trick,
your second suit may be shown, to afford partner a
choice of declarations. Neither of you having given
the slam signal plainly indicates that your second bid
is not intended to show an ace, you evidently are
showing a two-suiter. As the hand below illustrates,
sometimes such strategy results in a notable gain.
