DENNYUT [ 30o

a boil, of the pulse, or of the fontanel; throbbing, generally; (Kedah) rennynt.

keidwa kali: the second occasion, the second
time of doing anything.

represent as two. M. laki: to commit bigamy
(of a woman); to take a second husband when

j.).J dudor. A plant (unidentified). Its leaves are
used by Chinese for feeding pigs. This tree
is often mentioned in pantuns.

Kedutdokan: seat, sitting, situation, place or
condition of sitting; station, position, life.
Tezpat kedudokan Terenggong: the Temenggong's residence; Ht. Abd., 254. Kedudokan

Terdudok: seated; Ht. Abd., 364. Lain
jatoh terdudok kaluwar-lah api daripada tubohnya: he fell into a sitting posture and fire

Colloquially, the abbreviation form 'dok is
often used.

A.d duwit. [Dutch: duit.] A cent, a doit;
money in general. Formerly a duwit was
T0 of a guilder; now it is a name given (in
Penang) to a cent of the British dollar, (in
Singapore) to 4 cent. Duwit sen: small currency, fractional to the dollar; J. I. A., I., 82.
In Singapore sen is used for a cent, and duwit
is often used in the sense of money generally.
Tiyada mlemberi kita duwit: lie gave us no
money. Banyak-lah yang berduwit: many
had money; Ht. Abd., 354.
