President's Silent Partner.' I urged them to name it anything but that, but nothing but that would satisfy them.
They said that title had much more punch in it than any
other. I agree to that, but I am afraid that I will get some of
the licks.
I do not know how much of this kind of thing W. W. can
stand. The last edition of Harper's Weekly spoke of me as
'Assistant President House.' I think it is time for me to go to
Europe or take to the woods.
