LI. 4-6. That sa is the sign of the gen. case is shown by the phon. compl. in KU-BABBAR(imn). If the rendering ' for which E. gave 50 manehs of silver to K '. (Lewy) is adopted, there is nothing to govern this genitive and nothing to express ' for' It is therefore preferable to take sid as in the translation (Landsberger) and to assume that sda which' has been accidentaly omitted by the scribe at the beginning of 1. 5. L. 6.Landsbereer's translation of idznu as schuldet is inexplicable. L. 7. Cp. B I, 13 a 4 for ga-ta-du-ni. Lewy's proposal to read iq-ta-du-ni cp. Ungnad, B. B., 129, 22), which he translates unterdrifckt (?) hat (I ii from gadadu?) hardly makes sense. Landsberger translates 11. 6-7: 'wobei Z. die Haf't/ung mit iPbernonmmen hat, which yields an excellent sense, but hie does not explain how he gets this meaning. 70 T. C. LXI, 95; A. O. 7307. [Cp.
