To pacify the heart, to pacify the soul let us go. We will pacify the heart of the lord with praise. The heart of Ann, the heart of Mardnk we will pacify with, praise. This entire liturgy obv. 64 lines to rev. 38 mnust be understood asfollows: "The god XI we will pacify etc. The translation in SBP imust be corrected accordingly. 1. For nasdhu copy, v. BM 22457 rev, end, imurmt i-is-su-.ha- am, 'he read and copied it'1. The text contains a short dedication to inninii by Kurigalzu, hence there can be no question of I'excerpting', the accepted meaning assigned to 'nasahu.
