7. Enna-nimrurn " the, eye of the leopard " is like Eni-ba~ma " the eye
of the serpent" in GaL. XVIII, 1.
10. The fraction would more naturally read 22; but since the division
of the shekel was into 180 ~E, this can hardly be correct, j being very
improbable.

In the Proceedings of the S'ociety of Bihlical Archwology, 1 897,
p. 287, 1 published one of the Cappadocian tablets in my possession.
The text has since been revised by Dr Pinches, and I here give an
amended translation of it
