oracles". Probably second class. The compound kin-gi-a (BR. 10765)
send ", is not yet found in a phrase from which its construction
can be determined.
82. ~T > —'W f" measure", probably dialectic for t, cf. aka -mnadadu BR. 4742. This ideogirarn is found very frequently at the end of temple lists of grains and animals and generally with a proper name between aka and gar. Cf. CT V 19 I 22 -30 aka Ur-Baul ha-a-gar - " Ur-Bau has imeasured " or " the
measure has been made by Ur-Bau ". But cf. CT V 17 1 31 a-ka-a
ba-a-jar -" the measurement has been made ". A variant is
a-ka-ga-A; cf. CT V 19 I 11 a-ka Ur-Bau dumtn Ba-zid ga-gadarn. See also CT V 18 IX, CT I 4 11I 11 and passim.
83. TI g__T a-REC 56, reading uncertain, in SAK 3h supposed
to be confused with REC l45 = tur. If the form were really a
variant of a- Sfl - araqu " bequeath, give ' (SAK 6l) one
would expect a-REC 220 which sign, alone of the four signs confounded in TU, had a value ru, cf. ZA XX 450 f. According to
CT XI 27 obv. 17 tl A Saraqu _ rtl-u, therefore the familiar
phrase a-mu-na-RU is correctly read by Tru.-DANG[N and wrongly
a-znu-na-.ub by me in Baby 1. I 267 which see for examples.
