To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve to pay 10 marks to
Henry de Wengham for him to deliver as ordered. By K.
Oct. 30. Liberate to William de Monte Revelli 121. 10s. for Michaelmas
Windsor. term in the 36th year of his yearly fee of 251. By K.
To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve to let the keeper of
the king's white bear, which was lately sent to him from Norway
and is now in the Tower of London, have a muzzle and an iron
chain to hold the bear when out of the water, and a long and strong
cord to hold it when fishing in the Thames. By the steward.
To the bailiffs of Bristol. Contrabreve to buy three fothers of
lead with all speed in their town and carry them to Merleberge,
for delivery to the keepers of the king's works at Merleberge and
Lutegarsale. By K.
To the sheriff of Dorset and Somerset. Contrabreve to pay
61. to Joan de Gorges for Michaelmas term in the 36th year of the
121. which she receives yearly by the hand of the sheriff of Dorset
for her maintenance, and 121. yearly in future so long as he retains
his office, that is, half at Easter and half at Michaelmas. By K.

Liberate to Henry de Luca, merchant, 200 marks for sendal
(scindell') and silken cloth bought of him for the king by the hands
