Bezil have a tun of good wine of the king's gift out of the issues
of the county. By K.
Liberate to Matthias de la Mare 10 marks for Michaelmas term
in the 43rd year and 10 marks for Easter term following of the
20 marks yearly which he receives at the Exchequer.

Liberate to John Blundel 5 marks for this Easter term of the
10 marks granted to him yearly to maintain himself in the service
of keeping the rolls and writs at the Bench.
Liberate to Aubrey de Fiscampis and Peter de Winton, keepers
of the wardrobe, 1031. 6s. 8d. for the expenses of the household.
June 20. Liberate to John de Swineford 101. for this Easter term of his
Westminster. yearly fee of 201. By the earl of Gloucester and J. Mansell.
June 20. Liberate to Raymond Garsye, messenger and proctor of Gerard
Westminster. de Erminiaco, 10 marks of the king's gift for his expenses homewards, in addition to the 10 marks lately ordered before the king's

To the sheriff of Gloucester. Contrabreve to let the keepers of
the king's works at Gloucester castle have 15 marks out of the
issues of his county to repair and amend the buildings, and
turrets, the lead of the tower, and other defects of the castle where
absolutely necessary, by view both of the constable and of the

June 22. To the bailiff of Havering. Contrabreve to wainscot the queen's
M.erton. chapel, to make a ridge to the roof, to thoroughly earth over the
floor (planchicium), to make passages round it, and to make glass
windows and a crucifix with Mary and John and place them
therein, all out of the issues of the manor of Havering, the cost
to be credited by the view and testimony of the viewers of the

Merton. Messinden have 101. of the king's gift without delay out of the
issues of his bailiwick for his toils and expenses on the king's
service in the parts of Flanders.
