May 15. Liberate to S. de Monte Forti, earl of Leicester, 2361. 18s. 42d.
Westminster. in full payment of arrears of the money which he receives on
the king's bonds.

Liberate to the abbess of Fontevraud 60 marks in part payment
of arrears of the king's fixed alms.

May 15. Liberate to John and Benedict de Norwagia, messengers of the
Westminster. king of Norway lately come on behalf of their lord, 5 marks of the
king's gift for their expenses homewards.
May 16. To the sheriff of Hants. Contrabreve to enclose a clearing
Westminster. (coupericium) of the king's park of Freitmauntel, the cost to be
credited by view.
Liberate to Mary, late the wife of Thomas Cordebof, formerly
king's serjeant-at-arms, 40s. of the king's gift for her maintenance.
May 16. Liberate to Agnes late the wife of Colin Portel 11 marks arrears
Westminster. of wages of the said Colin and his subjects (subditorum) who were
with him in the king's service when the king was last in Gascony.

Liberate to Agnes late the wife of Hugh de Heyrunval 100s.
in part payment of Hugh's wages and part recompense for his
horses lost in the king's service when the king was first in Gascony.

Liberate to William de Balevyle, taken and kept in prison by
the king's enemies of Wales, 60 marks of the king's gift in aid of

May 20. Liberate to Wenonwen son of Mereduk, Welshman, disinherited
Westminster. on the king's account, 10 marks of the king's gift for his maintenance. By C.
Liberate to John de Wyvyle 30 marks for this Easter term (as
on p. 441).
May 20. Liberate to Robert de Ferariis 501. for Michaelmas term in the
Westminster. 42nd year and 501. for this Easter term of the 1001. yearly which
he receives in the name of a marriage.
