Liberate to Aubrey de Fiscampo and Peter de Winton, clerks of the wardrobe, 100 marks to pay for the spicery of the wardrobe and to distribute to the king's poor servants who have now retired from his service. Liberate to Peter de Gisorciis, the king's chamberlain of London, 251. for 25 tuns of prisage-wine, to Peter Lambert 100s. for 2 tuns purchased and 191. 4s. for 8 tuns purchased, to Geoffrey Forestel 391. 13s. 4d. for 17 tuns purchased, to John de Gisorciis 100s. for 2 tuns purchased and 801. for 30 tuns purchased, to Richard Picard 321. for 12 tuns purchased, to Colin Hardel 106s. 8d. for 2 tuns purchased, to Arnold de Raby 501. 128. 4d. for 19 tuns purchased, and to certain mariners of Depe 221. 10s. for 9 tuns purchased, all taken last year by the said Peter de Gisorciis. Liberate to Ebulo de Montibus 25 marks for Michaelmas term in the 42nd year of his yearly fee for lands given to him and demised to the king (see Calendar of Patent Rolls, 1247-1258, p. 495). Nov. 7. Liberate to the archbishop of Tarentaise 50 marks of his fee; Westminster. to Segur de Castro Novo 100 marks of the arrears of his fee and 27 marks of the arrears of his rent; and to Alard de Shenigeham 20 marks, to John, lord of Durnay, 75 marks, to Simon de Geynvill 50 marks, to Guy de Reyns 60 marks, to Peter de Chantenay 50 marks, to the brothers of Chantenay 45 marks, to Baldwin de Villa 60 marks, to Espaulard 15 marks, and to Stephen Buet 20 marks, all of the arrears of their fees. Liberate to Richard de Grey, constable of Dover castle, 200 marks to maintain the castle till the king shall make other provision therefor. Liberate to the 3 brothers of Sonevyle 151., and to William de Monte Revelli and his nephew 20 marks, all for their maintenance; to brother Arnold, messenger of the count of Comminges (Convenarum) 1008. to return home; to Lucy de Bray 100s. of the arrears of her fee; and to the prior of the Holy Cross at Bordeaux 10 marks to return home of the debt due to his abbot; this to be without delay. Liberate to John Laundrun and his six companions, dwelling in garrison in the castle of Kermerdyn, 351., being 100s. each, in part payment of the arrears of their wages; and to John de Freschevyle, dwelling in the same garrison, 100s. for the loss of his horse in the king's service there; this to be without delay as the treasurer and chamberlains love the king's honour.
