The like to the sheriff of Devon for 2,000 salt congers and 6,000 hake (hacorum) to be brought by sea to Chester [by the same date]. The like to the bailiffs of Carlisle for 300 salt salmon to be brought to Chester [by the same date]. June 25. Liberate to William de Gloucestria, goldsmith, 10 marks to Windsor. finish a silver image of St. Mary which the king lately ordered to be delivered to the prior of Merton of the king's gift to adorn his church. To the constable of Dover castle and the sheriff of Kent. Contrabreve to find and pay for prompt transport for W. bishop of Worcester, S. de Monte Forti, earl of Leicester, Peter de Sabaudia, and Hugh Bigod, departing beyond seas on the king's errand, when they shall come to Dover.
