40 HENRY III. 329 1256. Membrane 2-cont. Liberate to Bartholomew le Bigod, after payments as above, 100s. for the same term of his yearly fee of 101. Liberate to the abbot of Tyrun, after payment as above, 20 marks for the same term of the 20 marks granted to him yearly of the king's fixed alms. Allocate to William de Stowa, sheriff of Cambridge, in his farm of the county, 151. 15s. 10d. spent on pike and eels which he bought in his bailiwick against the feast of St. Edward last past and delivered to the keepers of the larder, and in carriage thereof to Westminster, as reckoned and attested by William de Grey, king's steward. Oct. 20. Allocate to Patrick de Ulvesby, sheriff of Lancaster, in the issues Westminster. of the last eyre in the county (corrected from the farm of the county), 1211. delivered to Roger de Ros the king's tailor and Hugh de Turri his colleague, takers of the wardrobe at Boston fair last past, to pay for certain purchases, as they have acknowledged before the king. Allocate to William de Englefeud, in his debts to the king, 20 marks for Michaelmas term in the 40th year (as on p. 281). Oct. 22. Liberate to Lucy late the wife of Rhiwallon (Rual'n') de Brey, Westminster. after payments (as under Oct. 3), 100s. for the same term of her yearly fee of 101. Oct. 21. * Liberate to the king's clerks Aubrey de Fiscampo and Simon Westminster. Passelewe, to the use of William de Abbechirch, Mabel la Frowe, John Fynamur, William de Line', Ralph de Bassishawe, Robert le Long, William Tylly, Robert Sawer, Stephen de Ponte, William le Paumer, Maude wife of Walter le Poter, Robert de Westmeln, Adam Wulf, Robert le Enveyse, Thomas le Furner, Ingolt (sic) le Baker, Richard Jencelyn, William de Waltham, Gilbert de Distaflane, Katherine de Modingham, William de Malling, and Roger de Bellingesgate, 100 marks in part payment of debts of the household, the money to be divided among them according to the amount of the debts and the tallies they hold till the king shall provide for payment of the balance. Liberate to Andrew Poygnaunt, king's clerk, 191. 10s. for 1,000 pounds of wax bought by him for the king by view and testimony of Philip Luvel, treasurer; and to Arnold Rose 201. for the like bought of him by William de Haselbech, the king's chamberlain of London, and delivered in the wardrobe, as testified by P. de * Marginal heading- De pacacione facta pluribus de London'.
