Nov. 5. To William de Axemuth. Contrabreve to pay 10 marks out
Westminster. of the issues of the bishopric of St. David's to Geoffrey de Norhampton, to whom the king has committed the keeping of the
bishopric jointly with him, for the expenses which he will incur
therein down to St. Peter's Chains, and 20 marks yearly for his
expenses so long as the bishopric is vacant and in the king's hand,
unless the king chooses to give him more; both of them to be
credited therewith.
Liberate to John de Wyvyle 20 marks for Michaelmas term in
the 39th year (as on p. 184).
Liberate to Ralph de Ausy and Alice his wife etc. Cancelled
quia aliter inferius (14th entry below).
Liberate to S. elect of Toledo 400 marks of the king's gift, and
to Garsias Martini 200 marks for the 38th and 39th years of his
yearly fee of 100 marks.
Nov. 7. Liberate to Wylemin formerly the queen's marshal 50s. for
Westminster. Michaelmas term in the 39th year, granted to him yearly for life
for his maintenance.
Liberate to Imbert de Castellone 201. for the same term of his
yearly fee of 101.
Liberate to Artald de Sancto Romano, keeper etc., 100 marks
to pay the expenses of the household.
Liberate to William Furt 20 marks in part payment of the
arrears of the king's debts to him.
Liberate to the abbot of Tyrun 20 marks for Michaelmas term
in the 39th year which he receives yearly of the king's fixed alms.
Liberate to Hugh Espaulard 15 marks for the same term of his
yearly fee of 15 marks. Cancelled quia inferius.
Liberate to the messenger of the viscount of Armagnac
(Erminiaco) 5 marks of the king's gift for his expenses homewards.
Liberate to John, yeoman of the countess of Angoul~me,
5 marks in like manner.
Liberate to Deuteitus the merchant 271. for a palfrey bought of
him and delivered to P. bishop of Hereford of the king's gift.
