By the queen, by witness of J. de Sumercote and R. de Ewell. Allocate to Robert le Vavasor, sheriff of Notingeham, his rightful allowance in respect of the grant to Edward the king's son of certain revenues to be collected by his bailiffs in the castellary of Tykehull for 7 years from 18 October in the 34th year (Calendar of Patent Rolls, 1247-1258, p. 75). By the queen. Liberate to Master Henry the king's surgeon 5~ marks and 12d. for Easter term in the 38th year of his yearly fee of 101., and 4j marks of the king's gift to prepare himself for his voyage to the king in Gascony. By the queen. Note that there is deducted from his yearly fee 51s. 4d. for 13 shops late of Peter de Frowyc which the king gave him in the city of London.
