Allocate to John de Plessetis, earl of Warwick, constable of the king's castle of Devizes, in the issues of that castle, of the manors thereto belonging, and of the forests of Chippenham and Melkesham, 201. for the 37th year, granted to him yearly at the Exchequer so long as he shall have the keeping of the Tower of London. By the queen. Allocate to Ralph de Aucy and Alice his wife 20s. to pay the rent of their dwelling for the 38th year. Dec. 14. To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve to carry 60 tuns of Westminster. wine to Westminster and 60 to Windesores, to place in the king's cellars there, out of 120 which John de Gisorc' the king's chamberlain of London will deliver. Liberate without delay to William de Chabbeneys 151. for Michaelmas term in the 37th year of the 301. granted to him for the life of Margery de Vernun, and 201. for the same term of the yearly fee of 401. granted to him till the king shall make provision for him of lands of that value in wards or escheats. By writ of the king. Cancelled quia in anno sequenti habuit comp[utabitur]. Liberate to the king's sister A. countess of Penbroc and Leyc' 2001. for the same term of the 4001. which she receives yearly for her dower in Ireland, for which the king is surety. By the queen in the presence of Philip Luvel, H. de la Mare, and R. de Muscegros. Liberate to S. de Monte Forti, earl of Leicester, 3,000 marks for the same term of the 7,000 marks of the fine made by the king in the name of Edward his son for the surrender to the king of the castles and land of Gascony. By the queen in the presence of Philip Luvel and H. de la Mare. There remain due to the earl 2,000 marks only of the above sum, as he had a liberate of 2,000 marks last year. Dec. 18. To the bailiffs of Suhampton. Contrabreve to pay for 16 tuns Westminster. of lawful prisage-wine in the keeping of Roger le Flemeng, taker of the king's wines at Suhampton, which he will deliver, and carry them without delay to Windesores to the queen's use to place in the king's cellars there. To Godfrey de Lyston. Contrabreve to pay week by week to Henry, fitter of the king's crossbows, his wages of 5d. daily from Michaelmas in the 37th year till Christmas following, out of the farm of Godfrey's bailiwick for Easter term next.
