alms.
Allocate to Robert de Wylegheby, escheator of Lindes', in the
issues of his escheatry, 171. delivered for the king's works at
Gildeford to Ellis Maunsell, keeper thereof, by the hand of
Master Andrew de Pritelwell the king's mason there on the
morrow of St. John before the Latin Gate in the 37th year.

May 6. To the constable of St. Briavels. Contrabreve to admit William
Westminster. Luvel and Henry de Candovere the king's huntsmen, whom he
is sending to take 40 bucks in the forest of Dene, and to salt the
venison and carry it to the king.
To the sheriff of Salop. Contrabreve to carry 50 oaks from the
king's woods in the bailiwick of Mungumery to the priory of
Cherebir', the king having given them to the prior.
To John de Hanneberg and Peter de Lega. Contrabreve to
pay 50 marks out of the issues of the sale of the king's corn at
Brehull to the abbess of Werewell in recompense of the damage
done to her mills for the benefit of (pro) the king's mills of Geudeford.
To the sheriff of Somerset. Contrabreve to let Philip de
Candovere and Richard de Candevere (sic) the king's huntsmen
have as much salt as they need to salt ten stags which they will
take in the king's park of Piderton, and to carry the stags to the
king against the coming Whitsuntide.
To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve to carry 100 tuns of
wine to Westminster, 60 to Windesores, 10 to Merton, 10 to
Keniton, 10 to Havering, 5 to Wautham, and 5 to St. Albans,
out of 200 to be delivered by John de Gisorc' the king's chamberlain of London.
To Stephen Bauthan, John de Haneberge, Peter de Lega, and
others, the king's farmers of Wudestok and its members. Contrabreve to pay 501. without delay to Ellis Maunsel, keeper of the
king's works at Geudeford, to finish those works, being due as
their farm for Easter term last past.
To the bailiff of St. Briavels. Contrabreve to carry to St.
Briavels for the king's works there when needed one-half of the
lime left of the 1400 quarters which he made in the forest of
St. Briavels for the king's works at Gloucester; and to carry the
