Liberate without delay to Alan Burnel, king's serjeant, going on the king's errand to Apulia, 30 marks for his expenses. Liberate to Bernard de Castenof, William Gorsor, and Bernard de Sugeng', messengers of the commonalty of l'Entre deux Mers (communitatis inter duo maria), 10 marks of the king's gift for their expenses. By K. Liberate to Philip, messenger of Conrad, 15 marks of the king's gift for his expenses. By K. Liberate to Peter, messenger of the king of Navarre, 100 marks of the king's gift for his expenses. By K. Liberate to Amalvin de Varays 50 marks for the 35th year and the like for the 36th year of his yearly fee of 50 marks. He has his fee down to Easter in the 37th year, and will then receive 25 marks. By K. March 11. To Ralph de Sumercote, keeper of the exchange. Contrabreve Westminster. to pay 261. and 1 mark out of the king's share of the profits of the exchange to Ern' Munaut for 16 tuns of wine bought of him by the hands of Ernald Geroudun and Thomas Esperun in the 36th year, By J. Maunsell. To the treasurer and chamberlains of Dublin. Liberate to Roger de Haverhulle, keeper of the exchange in Ireland, 20 marks for this occasion of the king's gift to maintain himself in the king's service. Liberate to Peter de Craanzun 801. arrears for the 34th, 35th, 36th, and 37th years of his yearly fee of 201. Thus he has his fee down to Easter in the 38th year. By P. de Sabaudia. Cancelled quia aliter inferius. March 13. Allocate to Peter de Sabaudia, keeper of the lands late of the Westminster. countess of Eu (Augi), in the issues thereof, 801. which he delivered to Peter de Graanzun as the yearly fee of 201. which he receives at the Easter Exchequer, for the 34th, 35th, and 36th years, and for Easter term in the 37th year. To the sheriff of Northampton. Contrabreve to pay 201. of the king's gift out of the issues of the county or the income of the last eyre there to Master Henry de Abrincis, king's clerk, for his expenses, or to his known messenger bearing these letters.
