William de Grantcurt gives the king a mark of gold for the
liberty of not being placed on assizes. He paid P. Chaceporc
and is quit. Cancelled quia in rotulo finium.
Liberate without delay to James Fresel 101. of the king's gift
to maintain himself in the king's service. By R, Waleram.
Jan. 28. Liberate to Ralph de Bakepuz 101. granted to him in hand for
Westminster. next Easter term of the 101. granted to him yearly till the king
shall make more abundant provision for him.

To the constable of St. Briavels. Contrabreve to pay 30 marks
to Giles de Caumbray, king's serjeant (as to Nicholas Dymars
above).

To Richard le Enveyse, bailiff of Havering. Contrabreve to
pay 50s. arrears for Michaelmas term in the 36th year, when
Thomas le Rus was bailiff, to two chaplains ministering in the
king's chapels there.
To the bailiffs of Bristol. Contrabreve to buy a tun of wine in
their town and let the wife of Ralph de Bakepuz have it of the

Jan. 29. Liberate without delay to P. Chaceporc, keeper [of the wardWestminster. robe], 10001. to pay the expenses of the household.
To Richard le Enveyse, bailiff of Havering. Contrabreve to
pay ld. daily to the parker of Havering from Easter in the 36th
year till Michaelmas following, being arrears of the time when
Thomas le Rus was bailiff, and so henceforward as long as he
has the keeping of the manor. By K.

port for the transport of Master Albert the pope's clerk and his
