Jan. 14. Liberate without delay to Richard de Shireburn and Roger le
Windsor. Taillur 200 marks for delivery to Pelerinus de Luca and Henry de
Luk', merchants, to buy silken cloths for the king at the coming
fair of Leign'.
Liberate without delay to Guyonet Poverau 101. in hand for
Easter term in the 37th year of the 201. granted to him yearly.

Allocate to the sheriff of Kent in the farm of his county 17s. 8d.
spent in buying 212 fowls and sending them to the king against
the past feast of St. Edward.
Liberate to P. Chaceporc 300 marks for the king's expenses.

boards and half a hundred of great boards in their bailiwick to
make tables, and carry them without delay to Windesores for
delivery to the keepers of the king's works there to use as the king

William the painter to buy colours. By K.
To the constable of Windesores. Contrabreve to make an extra
storey (unum estagium) with a fireplace in the new tower in the
bailey of the castle of Windesores assigned to the king's stewards,
and to cover the tower with lead on the top and crenellate it as
the other new towers in the bailey are finished; the cost to be

To the sheriff of Leicester. Contrabreve to pay 10 marks of the
king's gift without delay to William de Axemue for his expenses
on the king's errand to the parts of Normandy out of the issues
