Abstract

The author narrates the presence, progress, and response to influenza amongst the 800 boys and staff at Christ's Hospital School, West Horsham. Narration begins with a boys trip to a cricket match, subsequent to which some became infected with influenza. Discusses disinfection and other preventative measures, vaccination, isolation, and a period of perceived immunity.
