I wish advise that I have investigated the title of the 120 foot strip leading from Los Feliz a1 North Vermont Avenue to the entrance of Griffith Park and find same was deeded by William Mead and others to the Board of Public Works as a public street, but that when said deed filed, this property was improved by parkings through the center and along each side and a improved by two roadways along center parking. I have also found it was the impression o grantors that the existing improvements would be kept up unchanged by the city whether sa was to be. done by the Board of Public Works or the Park Department. I find that the Boar 11': li Public Works was not prepared to care for park property, hence the care was delegated to t Park Department. I further find the Park Department took over the care of this property a ry t en ppronade, tee fi th to ong was Llso f the nio. of the Lnd 0
