Description

General Description: Adipose fin present, fewer than a hundred scales in the lateral line; double nostril flap; small mouth with weak teeth.
Specific Description: Gill rakers 43-46.

Distribution

Distribution: Lake Ontario, now extinct.

Ecology

Ecology: Depth to 60-200 m. Fed on plankton and benthos. Length to 25 cm.
