WHereas an Act of Council past at this Board, Dated the Second Day of May 1687. Which Act of Council followeth in these words;

TYRCONNEL,
WHEREAS a Petition was presented at this Board on the behalf of the Merchant Traders and Dea∣lers, and other His Majesties Subjects in this Kingdom, setting forth that the Chief Governours and Council of this Kingdom had for several years from time to time, by Acts of Council, dispensed with several Provisoes or Clauses contained in the Act passed in the late Parliament for Settling the Subsidy of Tunnage and Poundage upon His late Majesty, His Heirs and Successors, according to the Book of Rates, and particularly did dispence with the great Duty imposed upon Iron Imported from Forreign Parts; That since those Dispensations had been discontinued, the Trade and Commerce of the Kingdom, especially with Spain, had been much
