VIII. AN Experienced GARGLE, fine, transpa∣rent, and clear, which takes off the flac∣cidity, swelling, or soreness of the UVU∣LA; and obliterates any Canker in the MOUTH.

THis Efficacious Medicine remedies any sore Throat, proceeding from cold taking or any other cause whatsoever, by taking a Mouthful, and gargling the Throat with it, and repeating it every half hour; and do the like for the Canker. It hath relieved many persons whose Throats have been Ulcerated, by Gargling and touching the Ulcer often with a fine linnen rag dipt in it There is no danger if you happen to swallow any of it, for 'tis safe and innocent. It gives sensible ease immediately. [Price Twelve pence the half Pint.]
