CHAP. XVI. Of Raysing of Pasts.

THere are many Qualities which al∣though they are not so proper unto Ladies, yet they are very commendable in them, in which number is this piece of Cookery, to have a good hand in the Pastry; and because I must confess my Ignorance herein, I shall referre them to those Books which are the best that are extant on this subject, as The Accomplisht Cook Sect. 11. and Rabishaes Cookery Book 14.
