St. GILES in the Fields Certificate.

WE the Rector, Church wardens, and others, ancient Inhabitants of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields, in the County of Middlesex, whose names are subscribed, do certifie, that Mr. Gilbert Anderson (during the space of Eighteen Months now last past that he hath resided here) hath (by Gods Blessing) performed many emnent Cures upon the Sick, Lame, and Diseased, to his great commendations: And we never heard that any of the Patients which he undertook to Cure either miss'd of Cure, or Died, by reason of any miscarriage of his Cure. For which miraculous operation and his singular Charity to the Poor, We humbly conceive him to be very deserving of employment in Physick and Chirurgery, by those who shall have occasion to make use of him.

Witness our Hands the 18th day of April, 1673.
