Ymresymmu â Duw, drwy boethni y•• Yspryd, a thrwy weddi cael gobaith.

Caner hon fel Psal. 2.

PA hyd fy Arglwydd, Dduw dilyth? a'i byth yr wyf mewn angof? Pa guddio r'wyd, (o Dduw) pa hyd? dy lân wynebpryd rhagof? [verse 2] Ba hyd y rhed meddyliau tro bob awr i flino 'nghalon? Pa hyd y goddefaf y dir? dra codir fy nghaseion.
[verse 3] O Arglwydd edrych arnaf fi, a chlyw fy ngweddi ffyddlon. Egor fy llygaid, rhag eu cau ynghysgfa angau ddigllon.

[verse 4] Pe llithrwn ddim, (rhag maint yw'r llid) fo ddwedid fy ngorchfygu: A llawen fyddai fy holl gâs: dal fi o'th râs i fynu.
[verse 5] Minnau'n dy nawdd a rois fy ffydd, a'm holl lawenydd eithaf: Canaf i'm Duw am helpodd i, gwnaf gerddi i'r Goruchaf.
