Spiritus Castorei: Spirit of Castor.
It resisteth Poyson, and is good for such as are bit∣ten by Venemous Creatures; gives speedy delivery to Women in Travail, and easeth the Fits of the Mo∣ther. It helpeth Deasness, proceeding from stoppage, mixed with White Wine, and dropped into the Ears, It is good against the Diseases mentioned in the for∣mer. The Dose is from half a drachm to a drachm. Give it in something that is cooler.
