A Precept to the Sheriff, for enquiry upon a Riot.

R. B. W. G. Armigeri, duo Justiciariorum, &c. assignatorum, Vice-Comiti e∣jusdem Com. Salutem. Ex parte dicti Domini Regis tibi praecipimus, quod venire facias coram nobis, apud I. in Com praedicto vigesimo secundo die Maii, prox. futuro, vigin∣ti quatuor probos, sufficientes, et legales ho∣mines de Com. praedicto, quorum quilibet ha∣beat Terras, et Tenementa infra dictum Com. libere tenta per Chartam, ad annuum valorem xx. s. aut per Copiam Rotulorum Curiae, ad annuum valorem xxvi. solidorum et viii. denariorum, aut per utrumque, ul∣tra omnes reprisas; Ad inquir endum pro di∣cto Domino Rege, ac pro indempnitate nostra in hac parte, super Sacramentum suum, de quibusdam illicitis aggregationibus, et Riottis apud C. in Com. praedicto nuper commissis, ut dicitur. Et hoc nullatenus on i tas sub poena xx. lb. quam incursu∣rus es, si in executione praemissorum defece∣ris. Et habeas ibi tunc nomina Juratorum praedictorum, et hoc Praeceptum.
