Wherein God is Glorified in particular.

3. God is Glorified when his people suffer for Christs sake, John 21.19. 1 Pet. 4.14.

Reasons why God must be Glorified the first reason is, from the consideration of the Sove∣raignty and power of God. Psal. 8.6. to 12. Isa. 42.8. Rev. 14.7. Rev. 15.4.

2. Because they were Created and formed, for that end to Glorifie God. Isa. 43.7, 21. Rev. 4.11.

3. Because Gods people are predestinated, and called to live to the praise and Glory of God. Ephes. 1.5, 6, 11, 12. 1 Pet. 5.10.

4. Because they are bought with a price, and are not their own, therefore they must Glorifie God, 1 Cor. 3.21, 23. 1 Cor. 6.20.

5. Because Gods wrath is against all those who do not Glorifie him; Dan. 5.23.30. Mal. 2.2. Acts. 12.23. Rom. 1.21.
