8 And shall go out [of his Prison, and Restraints to and fro in the Earth, seeking whom he may devour,] to deceive the 26 Nati∣ons, which are in the four * quarters [or Corners] of the Earth, Gog 27 and Magog [i. e. the Enemies of God and his Christ, Ezek. 38.2, 3.39, 8. Rev. 19.18, 19, 21.] to gather them together [from all parts,] to 28 Battel [i. e. to oppose, persecute and destroy Christ's Kingdom upon Earth:] the 29 number of whom is as the Sand of the Sea [i. e. exceeding great, Ezek 38.8, 9, 15, 16.]
