¶ Take two handfuls of Lauender leaues, or the flowers, or both together, stampe them in a morter very small, and stéepe

the Lauender two houres in a pint of Malinesie, then straine it through a cloth, and boyle it well, and then with a Spunge all to bathe the swelling of the knees, or the ache thereof, and with∣in sixe or eight dayes vsing, it will helpe you God willing.
