Your [but only as] contradicts your [not proper∣ly.] For it is proper to say, [We are justified by Faith] as a Condition; as it is to say, [We are justi∣fied by Christ's Satisfaction] as the meritorious Cause. Or else Paul (and all the Scripture) speaks oftner improperly than properly. For they never speak of being justified by Christ's Satisfaction (though there be that which is equivalent in other terms) but
