the power and efficacie of the truth in the humanitie assumedf 1.1: Ro. 1.4. Of his Sonne made of the seed of Dauid according to the flesh, de∣clared to be the Sonne of God, according to the spirit of sanctification by the resurrection from the dead, 1. Pet. 3.18. Put to death according to the flesh, but quickened in the spirit, in the which also he preached vnto the spirits that are in prison. So Heb. 9.14. Christ by the eternall spirit offered vp himselfe without spot to God: and 1. Tim. 3.16. he was iusti∣fied in the spirit.
