THAT this matter may proceed more clearly, we shall set down in order the words of the Covenant; and then subioyn the Observations we made vpon them. The Pre∣face then of it goes thus.
Covenant. Wee all, and every one of vs vnderwritten protest, that, after long & due examination of our Consciences, in matters of true & false religion. Wee are now, throughly resolved of the truth, by the word & Spirit of God: And therefore, we be∣leeve, with our hearts, confesse with our mouths, subscribe with our hands, and constantly affirme, before God & the whole world, that this only is the true Christian faith and Religion, pleasing God, and bringing salvation to man, which now is, by
