BUt whereas occult qualities are often adjoyned to the primary qualities, * 1.1 the same things altering are not con∣venient allwayes, nor accommodated to all parts, but those things are to be chosen which have regard to every or any part in respect of the whole substance, and by reason of some occult proprieties have some singular Sympathy therewith, which Medicines therefore are called Appropriated or Cor∣roborating Medicines, for so occult qualities concur with manifest, and conspire in acting, or performing toge∣ther.
