Anemone tenuifolia flore pleno rubicante maculato.

THe narrow-leaved double spotted blush Anemone riseth up with a tall stalk, bearing a large flower, the outer leaves whereof are almost white, marked with small reddish spots and marks, especially on the outer side; the thrum is large and thick, composed of many narrow long sharp-pointed leaves, of a reddish or Peach-colour, pow∣dered with small specks of a deeper red colour; this is called by those that brought it out of Flanders, the perfect Curtizan. There is ano∣ther little differing from this, either in colours or manner of growing, called passe Albertine.
