Colchicum atropurpureum variegatum.

THe dark purple striped Meadow-Saffron differeth from the other, in that the Flowers at their first appearing are of a pale blush-co∣lour, with small and sharped-pointed leaves, which after a little time become striped and garded with a dark sad purple.
