* 1.1NAples doth exchange with Sevil, and giveth one Ducat, to have in Sevil posito 402
Marvedes; I demand then for 2634 Ducats in Naples, how many Marvedes shall I have in Sevil? To do which, you must multiply the said sum of Ducats by 402 Marvedes, and they make Marvedes 1058 868, which Naples must have
credit in the said place. And moreover it is here to be noted, That throughout all Castilia the Exchanges are made in the same manner as at Sevil, and they likewise keep their Account in the same denomination of Marvedes, which when amounting to one
million, they term it in Spanish a Quinto, marked. thus V. Example. 〈 math 〉〈 math 〉
