Composed by that able and experienced Sea-man Sr Henry Manwayring, Knight: And by him presented to the late Duke of Buckingham, the then Lord High Admirall of England.
I Have perused this Book, & find it so universally necessary for all sorts of men, that I conceive it very fit to be at this time imprinted for the Good of the Republicke. Septemb. 20.
